With all the climate concerns around the globe we are taking steps to give back to nature. That’s why we’re stoked to announce our partnership with One Tree Planted (@onetreeplanted) to plant a tree for every Boardstore board we sell.

The Health Of The Planet

Trees are crazy! Aside from producing skateboards they clean our air, provide habitats for a huge number of species, support our health, and create jobs. 

 

Recovery From Bushfires

One Tree Planted is resolving to plant millions of trees across Australia to recover forests still affected by the 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfires and restore native habitat vital for wildlife. Australia holds 123 million hectares of native forest, which is seventh in the world. It accounts for 3% of the Earth's forest area.

 

Biodiversity & Sustainability

By planting trees in Australia, we are giving koalas a better chance of survival and we're increasing biodiversity and encouraging sustainable agricultural practices with landowners.

 

 

Pushing Forward

Whether intentional or not, skateboard culture often finds itself at forefront of cultural norms, fashion trends and creativity. As the world moves towards lowering carbon emissions and more sustainable manufacturing we want to ensure skateboarding is doing its part in this area too. Our impact goes beyond planting trees across Australia. We want to always be pushing the boundaries on sustainability both within skate culture and as humans on Earth.
